House in Los Angeles’ Encino area that once was owned by actress Kirstie Alley and later by actress Katey Sagal comes on market for $9.395M

An eight-bedroom, 8,522-square-foot house in Los Angeles’ Encino area that once was owned by actress Kirstie Alley and later by actress Katey Sagal has been listed for $9,395,000.

In a Big Time Listings exclusive, we can report on the listing of the house at 4875 Louise Avenue in Encino, which now is the single most expensive home on the market in Encino. The house came on the market on April 14. The current owners are not celebrities.

Built in 1935, the house at 4875 Louise was owned by Alley until she sold it in 1997 to Sagal, who then turned around and sold the house a few years ago. Features in the house include nine baths, stone and hardwood floors, a newer gourmet kitchen, a gym, a wine cellar, a bonus room, a study, a media room, a new master suite with his and hers baths, and granite, marble and onyx counters, according to listing information. Outdoor features on the 2.26-acre, gated, flat property include rolling lawns, a koi pond, mature fruit and shade trees, loggias, fountains, a barbecue center, private patios and winding driveways, according to public records and listing information.

This house has a ton of history; Al Jolson and Ruby Keeler lived here in the 1930s-1940s, Don Ameche during the later 1940s-1950s, and according to local realtors Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen were said to have lived here for a year or so…
