House in Beverly Hills, CA that Dean Martin once lived in is on the market for $5.495M

A five-bedroom house in Beverly Hills, Calif. where the late singer, actor and comedian Dean Martin is said to have lived during the 1980s has been listed for $5,495,000.

In a Big Time Listings exclusive, we can report on the listing of the 3,266-square-foot house at 415 Dabney Lane in Beverly Hills. The house officially went on the market on Thursday.

Built in 1959, the newly remodeled house has six baths, a large pool, two waterfalls, and a steam shower, all on a 0.61-acre property, according to public records and listing information. The house’s owner, who is not a celebrity, paid $2,600,000 for the house in March 2005, according to public records.

Check out an online listing sheet for the house — complete with photos — here.

The Dabney Lane house is very close to Wallace Ridge, which is a street in Beverly Hills that has seen its share of celebrity owners. Various bold-faced names over the years that have owned on Wallace Ridge include 1) David Spade, whose Evening Star Trust paid exactly $4,000,000 in 2001 for the 5,848-square-foot house at 1120 Wallace Ridge that he continues to own to this day; and 2) Courteney Cox and David Arquette, whose Bring It Trust paid $5,450,000 in June 2004 for the 4,994-square-foot house at 1012 Wallace Ridge, according to public records.

From $2,600,000 to $5,500,000 in three years as the RE market has tanked? A bit optimistic, is it not?
