Back on May 2, we reported that Oscar-winning actress Gwyneth Paltrow and her rocker husband Chris Martin had gone to contract to sell their 8,442-square-foot condominium unit in Manhattan's TriBeCa area after listing it for $14,000,000.

Now, in a Big Time Listings exclusive, we can report that records show that Paltrow (pictured) and Martin's Orchard House LLC company wound up selling the unit, which is in a two-unit building, for $13,650,000, according to public records. The couple sold the unit, at 13 Harrison Street, to a couple who are not celebrities. The sale closed on June 6 and was recorded on June 14, according to public records. We had first learned of the unit going to contract from the New York Post's fine celebrity real estate columnist Braden Keil, who had reported on April 19 on the couple going to contract to sell the unit, which they had purchased in 2005 for $7,950,000.

The $13,650,000 condo sale capped a whirlwind year of buying and selling for Paltrow and Martin. In addition to selling the TriBeCa condo for $13,650,000, the couple paid $5,100,000 in March through their Orchard House LLC company for another condo unit in TriBeCa. We wrote about that 3,892-square-foot unit, in a development called River Lofts, here and here. And, the couple in August 2006 paid $5,400,000 through their Orchard House LLC company for a 6,800-square-foot house in Amagansett, N.Y., out on Long Island.
