Former U.S. Secretary of State Warren Christopher sells his 3,428-square-foot, Connecticut farmhouse-style house on Beverly Hills, CA's Coldwater Canyon Drive for $2.15M to producer Fernando Szew
Former U.S. Secretary of State Warren Christopher has sold his 3,428-square-foot, Connecticut farmhouse-style house on Beverly Hills, Calif.’s Coldwater Canyon Drive for $2,150,000 to a little-known movie executive producer named Fernando Szew.

In a Big Time Listings exclusive, we can report on Christopher’s sale price of his longtime home, which continues in our theme of writing about current and past members of the United States Cabinet.
Back on April 15, 2008, we wrote about Christopher’s listing of his house, which at that time had been on the market for $3,259,000.
The house, which Christopher had owned since 1976, has had two different addresses assigned to it in various records that we’ve seen: 1299 Monte Cielo Court and 1701 Coldwater Canyon Drive, and it sits at the corner of those two Beverly Hills streets. Built in 1935, the house has four full baths, one three-quarter bath, and a separate guest studio, according to public records and listing information. The one-story house has a pool, is set on huge lawns among specimen trees, and sits on a 0.41-acre (18,000-square-foot) parcel, according to public records and listing information.
Christopher, 83, sold his house in Beverly Hills because he purchased a new condo in January 2008 in the guard-gated Le Parc building at 10128 Empyrean Way in L.A.’s Century City area. Records show that the former secretary of state paid $1,815,000 for his in-town digs. Christopher, who was secretary of state from 1993 until 1997, also continues to own his main home in Santa Barbara County, Calif.
Christopher’s two-bedroom condo in Century City has two and a half baths, high ceilings, hardwood floors, crown moldings, a fireplace in the living room, and two walk-in closets in the master suite, according to listing information. Other features include a kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, according to listing information.
