A 3,862-square-foot house in the Coldwater Canyon area of Beverly Hills, Calif. that singer and actress Susan Anton had owned from 1984 until 2001--and that she had purchased with the financial help of her ex-boyfriend, the late actor and pianist Dudley Moore--has sold for $2,477,000. In a Big Time Listings exclusive, we can report on the sale of the house at 1853 Noel Place in Beverly Hills, which Anton sold in 2001 for $1,450,000, according to public records. The house has gone through several owners since then, and just sold on May 23 for $2,477,000. The sale closed on June 21. "Dudley and I owned a house that we sold when we were a couple, but this was the house that I bought (in 1984) when we broke up," Anton told the Los Angeles Times in 2001. "It was always my house, but he did make it possible for me." Moore's name was on the deed when Anton, who now is 56, sold the house in 2001, according to public records. He died the following year. Built in 1953, the Noel Place house is traditional in style, sits behind gates and has five bedrooms and three and a half baths, according to listing information and the Times. Features include walls of French doors opening to a pool, a country kitchen, a breakfast room with a fireplace, a master suite with a fireplace, and a loft with a sauna and a sitting area, the Times reported. The house had been listed for $2,595,000, according to listing information. Anton now lives in Las Vegas, where she and husband Jeff Lester paid $1,190,000 in August 2006 to buy a 3,942-square-foot house in the Eagle Rock subdivision, according to public records.
