Former baseball star Hideo Nomo has sold his 2,195-square-foot condominium unit on Wilshire Boulevard in Los Angeles for $1,200,000.
A onetime Japanese star who later came to America and pitched for the Los Angeles Dodgers on two separate occasions, Nomo, 39, has not played in the majors since 2005 but has not yet retired, either.
In 2000, he paid $755,000 for the unit that he just sold, which is in the La Tour building at 10380 Wilshire Boulevard in Los Angeles. Now, Nomo has unloaded the two-bedroom unit, which had been listed for $1,350,000.
Nomo continues to own an 8,169-square-foot house in Los Angeles' Bel-Air area, which he purchased in 2003 for $3,795,000, according to public records.
