Fashion designer Kenneth Cole and his wife, Maria Cuomo-Cole, have paid $14,500,000 for a co-op unit in Manhattan’s Sutton Place building. The New York Observer’s Lysandra Ohrstrom broke the story about an hour ago of the Coles’ purchase of the co-op unit in the building, which is at One Sutton Place South in mid-town Manhattan, near the Queensboro Bridge. Records show that the Coles (pictured here with actress Ziyi Zhang) were involved in the transaction during the month of February. The transaction was recorded about an hour and a half ago. One Sutton Place South was built in 1926 and has 13 stories, according to public records.
