Fall Out Boy guitarist Joe Trohman pays $516K for a newly converted condo unit in Los Angeles’ West Hollywood adjacent area
Joe Trohman, the lead guitarist for the extremely popular/MTV darling band Fall Out Boy, has paid $516,000 for a newly converted condominium unit in a trendy condominium complex in Los Angeles’ West Hollywood adjacent area.

In a Big Time Listings exclusive, we can report on the purchase by Trohman, 23, of his unit in the Rob Clark condominium complex in a part of Los Angeles that is next to West Hollywood. Trohman’s purchase closed back on November 27 but wasn’t recorded until July 5, presumably because the guitarist didn’t end up taking possession of the unit until after the sale was recorded.
Trohman’s new unit is in a boutique-style, luxury three-building condominium complex, and is close enough to trendy restaurants and clubs that residents actually can walk (or stagger) to and from them.
Built in 1973, Trohman’s new complex contains about 100 units, ranging in size from studios to two bedrooms. It’s not clear yet to us how large is the fourth-floor unit that Trohman purchased. Units range in size from 500 square feet to 1,200 square feet, and contain features like granite fireplaces, CaesarStone counters, hardwood floors and bathrooms with Wenge stained vanities, Quartz counters and glass tile shower and tub surrounds. The complex also has a pool, gardens, private underground parking, an outdoor grilling and dining area, a gym with weights/cardio, and a designer-furnished, lounge-style lobby.
Trohman also owns a town home on Chicago’s North Side that he purchased in early 2006 for $685,000, according to public records.
We have written before about the homes owned by other Fall Out Boy members, including our exclusive on April 3, and our recap on June 25 of the MTV ‘Cribs’ episode featuring Pete Wentz’s house.

Is there a reason that you list the addresses sometimes and other times you leave them blank?
OH YEAH GO JOE YOU ROCK OUT LOUD MAN!!! WHOOOOOOH!
[...] Kardashian’s building is just across the street from the Rob Clark condo building, where Fall Out Boy lead guitarist Joe Trohmann paid $516,000 earlier this year for a newly converted condo unit, as we exclusively reported back in September. [...]
Do you think that maybe it’s a bit irresponsible to list the addresses of people more likely to get stalked and harrassed by fans?
Lighten up! All these addresses can be found in white pages.
