Dr. Robert Rey — aka Dr. 90210 — lists his six-bedroom house in (where else?) the Beverly Hills, CA postal area for $5.295M
Dr. Robert Rey — also known as TV’s “Dr. 90210″ for his starring role in the cable reality TV show of the same name — has placed his six-bedroom, 6,217-square-foot house in the Beverly Hills, Calif. postal area (otherwise known as BH PO) on the market for $5,295,000.
In a Big Time Listings exclusive, we can report on the 47-year-old E! reality TV star’s listing of the house, which we previously wrote about back in October 2008, just after In Touch Weekly profiled the house. The house, which hit the market on Monday, is identified in listing information as a “renowned celebrity villa.”
Built in 1993, Rey’s house has seven full baths, one quarter bath, a two-story entry, high ceilings, a large living room, a formal dining room, a family room, a state-of-the-art kitchen, and a master suite with French doors, his and hers closets, his and hers baths and a sitting area with a fireplace, according to public records and listing information. Outdoor features on the 0.48-acre (20,996-square-foot) lot include a pool, a spa, an outdoor living room with a fireplace, and a guesthouse with a bath and kitchen, according to public records and listing information. Records show that Rey purchased the house from actress Raquel Welch in October 2005 for $4,480,000. Welch’s Data Revocable Trust purchased it in 1997 for exactly $2,000,000 from comedian Jeff Foxworthy.
The house is in the same neighborhood where Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher — and Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz — all reside.
We don’t know yet why Rey and his lovely wife, Hayley, have decided to move on, but when we find out, we’ll of course print the news here. And, we’ll keep you posted on if this house sells. Stay tuned.

Dr. Rey is something else: he revealed on one show that all of clothes — including operating room scrubs — are custom made to fit tight.
Well, on last season, his wife tried hard to force him to sell this house and move the family close to her parents’ house. It was embarrassing to watch…..Mrs. Rey behaved like a 3 year old child who had to get her way. I wonder if he finally gave in. Keep us posted.

She just a dumb brat that has to have it her way, she doesnt know how to save money. Her husband is the one making the money, and all she does is stay home with her kids. I appreciate that part of her, because it’s tough watching kids at home by yourself. However, she should just be happy that she has a wonderful husband and kids and not be so selfish about herself. I honestly think that Dr. Rey should leave her, she has no respect at all for him. She thinks that he brings home a lot of money, well let me tell you something!! Money isnt everything!! You earn your money from work!! If she wants to move, then she should get a high paying job so she could get her dream house!! I CANT STAND HER!! WAKE UP!!
I am married to a cardiologist in South Africa. My husband works hard and will never earn a quarter of what Dr Ray makes.I am so grateful for the wonderful life my husband has given me I only wish Mrs Ray had a little more empathy for her husband. It is time she got a wake up call!
I feel so sorri for Dr Ray, his wife’s mother is a real bitch, so pokes her nose in everywhere, and his wife needs to let go of her, can’t believe she allows her mother to take over the household, can’t she do things herself. Dr Ray is so good looking, if I was Hayley I would treat him right. Look after him Hayley and don’t let ur mom treat him bad.

I agree with all comments above. This Haley is a stupid lady who should start working or studying instead of bothering her husband all the time with this bullshit. If she has so much money to buy a new house, why can’t she afford a nanny to help her to look after the kids and do something more useful for helself in order to ocupy her “empty” brain? I hope he will divorce her and find somebody who thruly loves him and not his money. Get out Haley!!!

I agree with all the comments above. I wonder what Hayley must be thinking. she has never portrayed herself as intelligent and worthy of being Dr.Rey’s wife. She has a wonderful husband with a huge sum of money. her clothes are awful and I wonder how she even spends her time besides looking after the kids. I often see her making immature remarks in the reality show. she should be grateful for what she has. she has limitless options on how she could make her own life and other people’s lives better. it’s a shame to watch her act like that on the show.
oct. 3, 2009 happy birthday Dr. Rey, May God Bless You and Your Family. I don’t care what anyone says, but he is a great and inspirational individual who appreciates the fact that he got to live in America, get a lot of education to become a doctor (of plastic surgery)to help those who feel inadequate physically and who wishes to be perfect in their mind to themselves as well as to others. He appreciates his mom who worked very hard to raise him and his siblings and acknowleged his adoptive parents who help raise him to the fine humanitarian he has become. He is trying hard to become the caring, supportive husband,as well as the family-oriented, loving dad to his kids as well as a skillful, smart, intelligent doctor that we can appreciate and admire his hard work. I can hardly wait before he has his new season of Dr. 90210 back on tv so we can keep up with the latest in plastic surgery as well as his life. I’m so glad I was able to meet and take a picture with Dr. Rey at Sears in Pearl Ridge Shopping Center in Aiea, Hawaii promoting his line of Shapewear Sept. 26, 2009 that Sat. afternoon. I’m glad I was able to pick up one of his shapewear garments. He was a charming, handsome and comfortable person to talk to for a shy person like me. I hope to meet him again under professional circumstances when I’m in Beverly Hills the next time. I wish I could afford to buy his home that is currently listed. It would be a super deal. I wish him all the best in his personal as well as his professional life especially with his adoring,caring family.

Well, lets just hope that things will work out for the better and Haley eventually learns to stand up to her Mother and she learns to appreciate her husband for all he does for her…. She should not take him for granted…
One more thing, I feel when I look at pictures of this house that it reminds me very much of the way a President’s house should be. Since I have toured through the Thomas Jefferson’s house in Virginia as well as Monticello, as well as a couple of other government officials houses. One day, Dr. Rey could end up being the governor of California..Just a hunch, but I am very psychic!!!!

I was wondering: is Dr. Rey teaching his kids Portuguese? Is he giving them something of his own culture? Brazilians are wonderful people with a big heart and warm feelings for others. (He reminds me so much of my own husband, who unfortunately died 6 years ago.) He is so handsome, with good feelings, has a lot of patience, hard working, honest, good looking and a lot of money. The latter is the least important of all, but hey, all the better! He needs a strong woman at his side, who encourages him, loves him, and shows her affection to him. None of what I saw his wife doing. I don’t encourage him to divorce her. But she needs counseling. For the sake of the children they should work at their problems. nothing is impossible if you have God on your side. Bless you Dr. Rey and I that God give you the strength, courage, and perseverance to get through this. To the wife: be grateful for what you have, love your husband, because he loves you very much, and deserves a lot more than you’re giving him now. He’s heaven’s treasure to you. God bless you all
i think that his WIFE NEEDS A LESSON! maybe needs to go back to pre-school the way shes treating him shouldn’t be aloud, im surprised hes selling his house…4HER! ugh, it makes me so annoyed…while hes out changing peoples lives shes sitting at home probably drinking tea!! does she even earn a cent?
You have a beautiful family. the only problem is that her mom is a horrible mother in law, and if you want to realy be happy, you nead to be as fare as you can, and beleave me that wheel change. you will see the differents. and for you Hayley. be considerable with your husband love him first, and is really not about money, is about love and respect for one another, wish i think you nead to learn. with all my respect to you. he’s a good man he deserves to be happy and you can make him happy if you try not just for you only but for the entarely family. bod blees. thanks.
