Detroit Pistons forward-center Ben Wallace cuts the asking price of his mansion in Lake Forest, IL to $2.49M

Check out Bob’s weekly column from tomorrow’s Chicago Tribune about former Chicago Bulls forward-center Ben Wallace, who now is with the Detroit Pistons and is trying to sell his mansion in Lake Forest, Ill. for $2,490,000. That amount of course is well below the $3,000,000 that Wallace paid for it in 2007. Also featured: a mansion in Lake Bluff, Ill. that just hit the market for $12,500,000 and whose owner previously had claimed a portion of it was an Armenian church. And, retired professional quarterback Brian Griese sells his house in Glencoe, Ill. for $2,125,000.
