The New York Times' Josh Barbanel broke the story on Sunday of Webber's listing of the unit, which he has owned since buying it in 1987 for $5,500,000, according to public records.

The Times was quick to note that this isn't the first time that Webber has shopped the 11.5-room unit, which is on the 59th and 60th floors of Trump Tower, 721 Fifth Avenue in New York. Indeed, the paper reported that Webber had listed the unit for $7,950,000 in 1993 and again in 2000 for $15,000,000.

Features in the completely renovated unit include five and a half baths, top-of-the-line finishes and river, park and skyline views, according to listing information.

The unit's exact size is up for debate. Public records state that Webber's duplex consists of one 2,509-square-foot unit atop another, giving the duplex a total of 5,018 square feet. However, listing information states that the unit measures "approximately 5,500 sqft of living space." For what it's worth, the Times reported that Webber's duplex is "a 5,000-square-foot apartment."

Webber's agent told the Times that he intends to buy "an even grander Manhattan apartment." We'll of course keep you posted.
