Public records show that on July 17, a trust belonging to Alma Powell bought the 12th-floor unit, which is in the 15-story building at 220 W. 93rd Street in Manhattan. The purchase was recorded on Aug. 2. Features in the unit, which previously had been a rental, include original herringbone floors, French doors, and 1920s-era moldings, the Observer reported. The unit also has two corner bedrooms, three baths, open city views, an extra space for a maid or an office, and seven closets, according to listing information and the Observer. The building, which has about 64 apartments, was built in 1926 and has apartments ranging in size from 1,117 square feet to 2,141 square feet.
