CNN anchor Soledad O’Brien lists her loft in Manhattan’s Chelsea area for $4.6M

CNN anchor Soledad O’Brien has placed her three-bedroom loft in Manhattan’s Chelsea area on the market for $4,600,000, and her broker is holding an open house at the loft next Tuesday from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.

The Wall Street Journal today broke the story of O’Brien’s listing of the approximately 4,000-square-foot co-op apartment at 142 W. 26th Street in Chelsea.

O’Brien purchased the seven-room unit in 2002 (and not “four years ago,” as the Journal had reported), for an undisclosed price. Features in the full-floor loft include three baths, a custom open kitchen with custom cherry cabinets and under counter lighting, high ceilings, a play/media area that can be closed off by glass and wood doors, a master suite with a walk-in dressing area and built-in storage, a master bath with a separate shower and an oversized tub, an office with back-to-back cherry wood desks, and a 42-foot-long living room, according to listing information. Check out an online listing sheet for O’Brien’s unit – complete with photos – here.
