For April 2007
Average Days on the Market: 72 Days
Monthly Supply of Inventory: 5.6 months

The Chicago Condo Market still looks relatively healthy. Less than six months of inventory is considered to be a sellers market and currently there is 5.6 months of inventory. So although we are close to the edge, we are still technically not in a buyer’s market as far as the Chicago Condo Market is concerned. The average sale price has drifted downward since January and in April stands at $330,869 compared with $340,076 in March.
The average number of days on the market stands at 72 days which is up 5% from April 2006.
