Check out Bob's weekly column in this past Sunday's Chicago Tribune, where he broke the news of Chicago Bulls forward Luol Deng listing his town home in Northbrook, Ill. for $639,000.
Also featured: Bob exclusively reports an update from a previous column about Chicago morning TV anchor Mike North: now, North has reduced his asking price for two waterfront lots in Park Ridge, Ill. from $1,100,000 each to $979,000 each. (North originally had planned to build on the land, which is on a secluded lake in the Chicago suburb, but ultimately decided to stay put after his wife's sister decided not to build on the other lot and instead stay in her home elsewhere in Park Ridge.)
Bob also breaks the news of Chicago Bears defensive end Adewale Ogunleye cutting the asking price of his house in Vernon Hills, Ill. to $584,900. Ogunleye previously had asked three higher prices for the home, with the first and highest asking price being $649,000 last summer.
Finally, Bob breaks the story of Chicago TV reporter Leah Hope selling her condominium unit on Chicago's North Side for $549,000.
