Celebrity attorney Gloria Allred pays $1.75M for apartment on Manhattan's Upper West Side
Celebrity attorney and radio talk-show host Gloria Allred has paid $1,750,000 for a 5.5-room apartment on Manhattan’s Upper West Side.

The New York Post’s fine celebrity real estate columnist Braden Keil yesterday broke the story of the purchase of the unit in the Barrington building (also known as The 203 Condominium) at 203 W. 81st Street (at Broadway) by Allred, 66. Records show that the attorney went to contract to buy the unit on October 3, and that the deal closed on December 28. The transaction was recorded on Wednesday.

The prewar apartment has been renovated and has either two or three bedrooms, two baths, a separate dining area, a cook’s kitchen with a breakfast bar, a south-facing living room with high ceilings, a washer/dryer, custom closet systems, and tasteful built-ins, according to listing information.
Allred purchased the 1,250-square-foot unit from a couple who had only purchased the unit on June 21 for $1,695,000, according to public records.
