Cambodia moves to new digs
The nation of Cambodia has paid $5.1 million to buy a town house on Manhattan’s Upper East Side from a well-known photographer of celebrities for Life and Time magazines.
The New York Times reported that Cambodia will use the town house at 327 East 58th Street would be converted into government offices with an ambassador’s residence on top. Cambodia closed on the unit earlier this month, buying it from retired celebrity photographer Ormond Gigli, 81, who now lives in a farmhouse in West Stockbridge, Mass.
