Check out Bob's weekly real estate column in the Chicago Tribune from two weeks ago, where Bob broke the story of Atlanta Braves (and former Chicago White Sox) pitcher Scott Linebrink listing his house in Hinsdale, Ill. for $825,000. (Technically, Bob broke the news about Linebrink's listing earlier that week, in a separate breaking-news alert that appeared on the Tribune's Chicago Breaking Business website.)

Chicago-area major-league baseball pitchers past and present, in fact, were the entire column that week, with Bob also reporting on Cubs pitcher Ryan Dempster cutting the asking price of one of his homes near Wrigley Field for the first time in the year-plus that it had been on the market (Bob also had broken that story a week and a half or so earlier, also on Chicago Breaking Business).

And, Bob's column that week also reported on former Cubs pitcher Ted Lilly, now with the Los Angeles Dodgers, again cutting the asking price of his home near Wrigley Field.
