Actress Patricia Clarkson has paid $1,555,000 to purchase a four-room loft in Manhattan's Greenwich Village.

Credit the New York Post's fine celebrity real estate columnist Braden Keil for breaking the story today of Clarkson's purchase of the 1,600-square-foot loft, which had been listed in December 2006 for $1,900,000, then for $1,650,000, and finally for $1,595,000.

Features in the one-bedroom co-op include two baths, high ceilings, custom built-ins, and a master bedroom with a study, a walk-in closet, additional storage, a tiled bath and garden views, according to listing information.
