Soap opera actress Michelle Stafford has placed on the market a three-bedroom, 2,832-square-foot, Spanish-style house that she owns in the Oaks neighborhood of Los Angeles’ Los Feliz area, with an asking price of $1,599,000.

In a Big Time Listings exclusive, we can report on the two-time Daytime Emmy-winning actress’ listing of the two-story house, which came on the market just over two weeks ago.

Built in 1936, the house has two and a half baths, a family room/loggia with French doors, a formal dining room, a kitchen with a breakfast area, a master suite with a large walk-in closet and a steam shower, new copper plumbing, newer electrical panel and wiring (done in 2005), and a living room/great room with a fireplace and picture windows with treetop views, according to public records and listing information. Stafford purchased the home in late 2004 for $1,325,000, according to public records. She had tried to rent the house out in early 2008, for $6,200 a month.
