Actress America Ferrera has paid $1,415,000 to purchase a house in Los Angeles' Hollywood Hills. Today we're trying to catch up on some items that seem to have been discussed by everyone but us. First off, kudos of course to our pals over at the Real Estalker for breaking the story back on April 22 of Ferrera's purchase of the house. Most recently, the current issue of Life & Style magazine (on newsstands now!) runs a photo of the house as well. Indeed, records show that Ferrera's Summit Project Trust purchased the house way back on December 13, with the deal being recorded on January 11. Built in 1993, the house measures 3,427 square feet, according to public records, and has either four bedrooms (according to public records) or three bedrooms (according to listing information). The difference, we presume, is that the 'loft-style office' probably is counted as a bedroom. Other features include three and a half baths (the 'half' is an 'elegant powder room,' according to listing information). Other features include a family room, vaulted ceilings, a newer roof, energy-efficient windows, and a two-car garage, all on a minuscule, 0.15-acre lot, according to public records and listing information. The house had been listed for $2,199,000, and later was reduced to $1,498,000. Although we're not printing the house's address here, it's on the same street as the house where hunky actor Jesse Metcalfe just sold a 3,919-square-foot house, as we exclusively reported on March 17.
