Actor Tom Arnold sells his 4,211-square-foot house in Los Angeles’ Tarzana area for an undisclosed price after it had been on the market for $2.275M

Actor Tom Arnold has sold his 4,211-square-foot house in Los Angeles’ Tarzana area for an undisclosed price after it had been for sale for $2,275,000.

In a Big Time Listings exclusive, we can report on Arnold’s sale of the house, which is at 4704 Caritina Drive in Tarzana. We previously had broken the story of Arnold having purchased the house, back on January 12, 2007. That was shortly after Arnold had purchased the house in late 2006 for $1,950,000, according to public records.

A prior owner of the house was “American Idol” judge Randy Jackson, who had sold it in early 2005 for $1,325,000, according to public records.

Built in 1956, the house that Arnold sold has four baths, a gourmet kitchen with granite countertops and a master suite with a fireplace and cathedral ceilings, according to public records and listing information. Outside on the almost exactly half-acre, flat property are park-like grounds, a fountain and a pool, according to public records and listing information.

The house hadn’t exactly been on the market for a long time. It went up for sale on March 25, and the deal closed on July 1. The buyers are not celebrities.

Arnold previously had owned the 7,646-square-foot house at 14046 Aubrey Road in the Mulholland Estates area of the Beverly Hills, Calif. post office, which he quietly sold in late 2006 for $7,400,000, according to public records.
