Actor Steven Weber, who starred on “Wings” and most recently was on “Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip,” has booked a massive profit on his 1,400-square-foot home on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, Calif., selling it for $3,820,000, or almost $1 million more than he paid for it in early 2006.
In a Big Time Listings exclusive, we can report on the sale by Weber, 46, of the home at 32052 Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, which closed on May 25 and which was recorded on June 12.
Public records show that Weber didn’t own the Malibu house for very long. The actor’s Trumpton Trust paid $2,849,000 for the house in April 2006.
Now, Weber has sold the house in Malibu, which did not appear to have been on the market, to a married couple who are not celebrities. Built in 1965, the three-bedroom house has two baths and sits on a 0.42-acre parcel, according to public records. While the house indeed is on the south side of the Pacific Coast Highway, it’s not quite on the Pacific Ocean; two lots lie between the home and the ocean.
The house that Weber sold also is just two doors away from Cheech Marin’s three-lot, 1.52-acre spread on the Pacific Coast Highway.
Weber continues to own a 5,200-square-foot house on 2.57 acres in Los Angeles’ Brentwood neighborhood. He purchased that house, which was built in 1973 and has six bedrooms, in late 2003 for an undisclosed amount.
