In a Big Time Listings exclusive, we can report that Gable, 46, is merely the latest famous offspring to buy and sell in Malibu. On April 14, we reported on Dexter King, who is the son of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., doing some buying and selling of his own in the seaside community.

Gable completed his two deals last month, according to public records.

Built in 1955, the three-bedroom, 2,264-square-foot house that Gable sold, at 28854 Bison Court in Malibu, is about a block from the Pacific Ocean and sits on a 1.16-acre parcel, according to public records. He had owned the house since 1986, according to public records. The house appears to have been listed for $3 million. Unfortunately, there are no photos and listing information available online. The house also is about a block from actress Julia Roberts' 3,378-square-foot house on Grayfox Street, according to public records.

The four-bedroom house that Gable purchased in Malibu is close to Broad Beach and is about two blocks from the ocean, in the Malibu Park area. Originally listed for $2,295,000, the house has three baths, an open and bright floor plan, and a gourmet kitchen with granite counters and top-of-the-line appliances, according to listing information. Other features include a pool, a spa, a balcony, wood floors, stone finishes, a gated drive, a courtyard entry, and a master suite with a fireplace and ocean and sunset views, according to listing information. Built in 1978, the house coincidentally happens to have 1,978 square feet and sits on a very small lot, according to public records.
