Actor Jamie Foxx has sold his 5,428-square-foot house in Los Angeles' Tarzana area for an undisclosed amount after it had been listed for $2,320,000. In a Big Time Listings exclusive, we can report on Foxx's sale of his longtime home at 5370 VanAlden Avenue in Tarzana. Back on June 26, we wrote about Foxx having listed the house, which he had quietly put up for sale on April 18. Foxx (shown here with Stacy "Fergie" Ferguson) had owned the house in Tarzana since buying it in 1997 for $930,000. Public records show that on July 25, Foxx's Big House Trust sold the house for an undisclosed price to a married, non-celebrity couple. The deed was recorded on July 31. We'll provide the sale price as soon as it becomes available in public records in the next few weeks. Built in 1949 and situated on a 0.79-acre lot, the house on VanAlden Avenue has three and a quarter baths, soundproofed rooms, orchestral wiring, a game room, a sport court, a pool, a pool house, a great room, and an outdoor living deck, according to public records and listing information. Other features include a master suite sanctuary with a private entrance, an extended living room and dining area with an aquarium, a media theater with a wine case and a powder room, and a gourmet kitchen with a breakfast area, bar, and a butler's pantry, all with granite and marble counters and floors, plus Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances, according to listing information. Check out a still-available online listing sheet -- complete with photos -- for the house on VanAlden Avenue. Foxx now lives in the Rancho El Conejo area of Thousand Oaks, Calif., on a 40.22-acre estate on Potrero Road that his EMB Family Trust purchased back in 2006. He paid a reported $10.5 million for that estate, which has a 17,000-square-foot mansion. We wrote about that purchase on May 17, 2007.
