Actor Danny Masterson has paid an undisclosed amount (but likely above $1M) for a loft unit in the new Broadway Hollywood building in Los Angeles' Hollywood area. In a Big Time Listings exclusive, we can report on Masterson's purchase, which closed on July 31 and was recorded on September 14. masterson-i.jpg His new unit is in the 10-story Broadway Hollywood building, a former department store at 1645 N. Vine St./ 6310 Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood. The building is right on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Units range in size from 931 square feet to more than 2,000 square feet, and ceilings are as high as 20-plus feet, according to the building's website. As we have reported in the past, Masterson is quite the real estate wheeler-dealer, so it's not clear if he bought the Broadway Hollywood unit for his own use or as an investment. Regardless, this has been quite a year of buying and selling for Masterson, including him and girlfriend Bijou Phillips buying the former Chuck Berry mansion in Los Angeles' Los Feliz mansion on May 9, which we exclusively reported on June 18. In addition, this past year Masterson also listed his house in the Beachwood Canyon part of Los Angeles' Hollywood Hills. That house, which we wrote about on May 7, had been listed for $1,595,000 and later was reduced to $1,495,000. The Beachwood Canyon house may well have gone to contract, since we no longer see it in the MLS. We'll of course keep you posted on what happens to Masterson's Beachwood Canyon house.
