In a Big Time Listings exclusive, we can report on the closing of Myers' purchase of the unit in SoHo, which quietly took place last month. The purchase went unnoticed and completely unreported -- until now -- because Myers bought the unit in a trust. Records show that Myers went to contract to the buy the unit way back on November 16, 2006 (yes, 2006), and then closed on December 13, 2007. The deal was recorded with New York City on December 27. Records also show that the "full sale price" (which includes personal property) of the unit was $7,984,437.

Back on May 17, we wrote that Myers was under contract to buy the 4,204-square-foot duplex penthouse unit. We were following up on the New York Post's fine celebrity real estate Braden Keil's reporting that same day on Myers' purchase.

Features in Myers' new three-bedroom unit include four baths, 15-foot ceilings in both the living room and the dining room, a great room, two balconies that each are 60 square feet, a 1,368-square-foot private rooftop terrace, select rift and quartersawn white oak floors, gas fireplaces, custom baths with Carrara and Thassos marble, a 75-square-foot storage room, and a holistic Bulthaup b3 gourmet kitchen with tall maple and aluminum cabinets and glowing stainless steel countertops, according to listing information and the Post.

Back in 2000, he and then-wife Robin Ruzan were reported to have purchased a two-bedroom (or three-bedroom), 1,700-square-foot, Cape Cod-style house on three-quarters of an acre in the Beverly Hills, Calif. area (reportedly near David Geffen's house) for above its asking price of around $2 million, according to the Los Angeles Times' "Hot Property" column at that time, and said to be $2.4 million, according to an Entertainment Weekly article at the time. We are putting a query out to our readers to help find this elusive property, which we have never been able to locate. As such, we don't know if Myers still owns this house, or if he owns anything else in the Los Angeles area (although we assume that he does). Also, in 1995, Myers and Ruzan were reported to have paid more than $1,500,000 for a three-bedroom, 3,900-square-foot house with a pool on two-thirds of an acre on Los Angeles' Westside, according to a 1995 Los Angeles Times "Hot Property" column. We also have been unable thus far to locate that property, either, and as such, we're not sure if he still owns that house, either. Readers?

As for Ruzan, who now is Myers' ex-wife, she paid $3,149,000 in 2006 for a 2,305-square-foot house in Los Angeles' Hollywood Hills, according to public records.
