River Forest is an ideal place to live. It is around 9 miles west of the loop and downtown Chicago. The area is served by the green and blue line L trains. The Metra also has 2 local stops (Keystone and Harlem). It is convenient to the Congress Expressway (290) and a 20-30 minute car ride to O'Hare or Midway airports.
